Families Giving Back

You may not be able to help the whole world, but you can make a difference in your own community.   --Elizabeth P. Carter

See the list below of non-profits that could use your help! Families can make a difference in their community without it necessarily being a big time commitment or expense. Below are ways parents and kids can give back to our community. Click HERE to add your non-profit organization to this page.

APECA

Arizonans for the Protection of Exploited Children and Adults (APECA). APECA strives to protect the dignity and well-being of commercially and sexually exploited children and adults through prevention, intervention, and education. You can help by volunteering your time to assist with local fundraising efforts (must be 18), or you can donate new household items to benefit Natalie's House - a safe haven home in our community being built to house teen girls recovering from sexual exploitation and abuse.

Hospital Visits

Take your children and deliver balloons and/or stuffed animals, etc. to the sick children. This is a great way to teach caring for others and show children how good giving can make them feel. Check the Health Care Resources section for area hospital listings.

Junior Achievement of Arizona, Inc.

Become a Junior Achievement(JA) volunteer. JA is a program that uses hands-on activities to help young people understand the economics of life. LifeUnfolded

We will generate constant income through a non-profit, second hand childrens' store. We will need $150,000 to start, and out of that, a minimum of $98,000 of that will be directly circulated in to the art programs by the end of the first year. We will also be holding multiple clothing drives for local shelters around the Phoenix area. Times and dates for the clothing drives are to be announced.

About Us:

A diverse field of professional artists dedicated to strengthening the confidence of foster children through their own creative ability. Creating programs for them that will convince them they are capable of whatever they can imagine.
