I'm looking for a good charter school or magnet program to place my daughter in next school year. She'll be in 1st grade and I was looking into Heritage Elementary in Glendale at the recommendation of my day care. She raves about the school but I've also heard there is not a gifted program. Anyone have any experiences with this school? Any other charter or magnet schools I should look into? TIA!

I have a child that since birth has had signs of sensory processing disorder. I have been searching for an OT that is able to do a screening for this disorder for almost 2 yrs. does anyone out there have a child that has hypersensitivity to clothing, teeth hygiene, lotion? I need some coping skills to help her with these issues. thanks

My husband and I are looking for a playgroup that has at least one other dad who participates. We are both home right now with child #2, but soon my husband will be the one staying home with the boys (ages 14 mos. & 1 mo.) and would like to start and/or join a playgroup with other stay at home dads.
